RCMC

The Registration Cum Membership Certificate (RCMC) is a mandatory certificate for businesses in India involved in export activities, issued by Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) or commodity boards. It certifies that an exporter is registered with the relevant EPC and is essential for availing various export incentives and benefits under the Foreign Trade Policy. The RCMC also helps in identifying exporters dealing with specific products, facilitating better coordination and support from the government and EPCs. To obtain an RCMC, exporters must submit an application along with relevant documents such as the Importer Exporter Code (IEC) and details of the products they intend to export. The certificate is generally valid for five years and requires renewal thereafter.
