Eligibility Criteria: –

Location: Identified production clusters

Key Points: –

>Any expenditure made before approval will not be Considered

>Value of land will not be Counted in project cost

>Unsecured loan will not be considered as equity

Finance: –

>Grant-in-Aid: 35% of eligible project cost (General), 50% of eligible project cost (Difficult Areas/SC/ST/FPOs & SHGs)

>Promoter Contribution: 20% of total project cost (General), 10% of total project cost (Difficult Areas/SC/ST/FPOs & SHGs)

>Term Loan: 20% of total project cost (General), 10% of total project cost (Difficult Areas/SC/ST/FPOs & SHGs)


Land: –

>Ownership: Land should be owned in the name of the applicant firm or leased for a minimum period of 15 years

>Cost Exclusion: Cost of land is excluded from eligible project cost.

Evaluation Criteria: –

>Evaluation Marks: 60 marks (General), 45 marks (SC/ST)

>Evaluation Process: To be evaluated by the Evaluation Committee

Fee and Refundable Bank Guarantee: –

>Initial Application Fee: ₹ 20,000/- (General), ₹ 15,000/- (SC/ST) (non-refundable)

>Refundable Bank Guarantee: 5% of eligible grant-in-aid, submitted within 30 days of issue of approval letter

Release of Subsidy: –

>Instalments: Three instalments – 33.33% each, to be released after:

1. Incurring 33.33% of cumulative expenditure of eligible project cost (within 8 months from date of issue of approval letter)

2. Incurring 66.66% of cumulative expenditure of eligible project cost (within 16 months from date of issue of approval letter)

3. Incurring 100% of cumulative expenditure of eligible project cost (within 24 months from date of issue of approval letter)

Difficult Areas: –

>North-Eastern States (including Sikkim), State of Uttarakhand, State of Himachal Pradesh, Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, State Notified ITDP areas and Islands (Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep)


Perishable Crops: –

>Fruits: Mango, Banana, Apple, Pineapple, Orange, Grapes, Aonla / Amla, Pomegranate, Guava, Litchi

>Vegetables: Tomato, Onion, Green Peas, Carrot, Cauliflower, Beans, Gourd family (Bottle Gourd – Loki, Bitter Gourd – Karela, Ridge/Sponge Gourd – Torai, Pointed Gourd – Parwal and Ash Gourd – Petha, Okra, Garlic, Ginger
